Hello everyone and welcome to the Christmas issue of Family Focus. The Family Focus team can’t believe how the year has flown by and we’ve just published the fifth issue of the magazine. We have had a fantastic response to the publication from both advertisers and readers and we can only reiterate thanks and appreciation to the businesses we have worked with over the year.
In this issue we have Christmas wrapped up with plenty of gift ideas from locally sourced suppliers. Have you thought about giving a Three Bird Roast as an alternative present? What about personal training sessions or even a photography session by professional photographers? Do you know someone who snores? Try an aromatherapy cure that could change your life – a present that could be priceless! Take a look at our Gift Guide and see if some of our ideas can tempt you to give something different this year.
We also have a competition running through the magazine for children. Spot the correct number of Christmas Fairies running through the magazine and two lucky children will win a Disney Art Set just in time for Christmas!
In the meanwhile, prepare yourself for a healthy, safe and stress free Christmas. Please click here for our Christmas Issue. Happy Christmas to one and all!

Welcome again to the October/November issue of Family Focus. Exciting developments have taken place since our last issue and I am delighted to inform you that the magazine is now available in a digitial version at www.ffocus.co.uk . This means that Family Focus now reaches thousands more readers and advertisers have the additional benefit of direct links to their own website and e-mail address. No other local magazine offers this facility and we are delighted to be the first publisher to be able to provide this for our loyal advertisers.
The response to our last Reader Competition was amazing and we are delighted that so many of our readers were prompted to try and win Harry Sidebottom’s latest novel.
This month we have a family ticket to Blenheim Palace’s Halloween activities to give away, worth £44!
As winter draws in, we all need something to look forward to before the Christmas season hits us in earnest. Why not try something you haven’t experienced before. Take a wander around Woodstock and visit some of the special attractions in the Art in Woodstock Festival, plan a different holiday for next year by talking to specialist Travel Agents Routes to Suit and Carrick Travel, or if bigger life choices are looming, read our article on moving to a retirement home.
Please keep writing to us with your news and views and if you contact any advertisers, please do say you’ve seen them in Family Focus.
Please click on November Issue to view the magazine and advertisers websites. Happy Halloween and Bonfire Night.

Welcome to the September issue of Family Focus. As Summer begins to wane, our thoughts turn to Autumn and a fresh new season that often makes us take up new hobbies, try out new ideas and create something to look forward to as the nights draw in. This led us to focus on different aspects of personal development so that we have features on writing a book with tips from newly published novelist Harry Sidebottom and a reader competition to win a signed copy of his book. We also learn about life coaching, T’ai Chi, weight loss and a new fitness machine that is taking the fitness industry by storm.
I would also like to thank all our contributors and loyal advertisers for their continued support. If you should contact any advertiser about their business, please do tell them where you saw their advertisement.
Family Focus is your magazine and we would love to hear from you. If you have any ideas about features or would like to contribute to the magazine in some way, please do contact us at info@ffocus.co.uk.
